Every Memo account has a profile. It is how you appear in the Community: your name, your username and your picture sign every comment you leave and every shot you publish. You never have to create it. Memo makes it for you, with a username suggested from your name or your e-mail, and you can change any of it. Your profile also has a page at memo.solutions/@yourhandle. The page is private until you turn it on: visitors who open the address see nothing, and your username stays yours.

What is shown, and what is not

Your profile shows only what you put on it: your username, your name (if you choose to show it), your picture, a headline, a bio, your location, links to your other networks, and when you joined. Visitors also see how many people follow you. Your workspace, projects, briefs, Brand Kits and generations are never shown. Turning on your page does not change who can see your work.

Your username, name and picture

When you sign up, the This is you step shows the profile Memo made: the picture from your Google account if you signed in with one, your name, and a suggested username. Keep them or change them, then continue. If you skip the step, the suggestion stands. Usernames are 3 to 30 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. Memo tells you straight away whether a username is free, taken or reserved.

Edit your profile

Open Settings → Profile (the Settings button at the bottom of the sidebar, then Profile). The Public profile card shows how you appear. Press Edit profile to open the editor:
  • Profile picture: click it to change it, or the bin to remove it. Without a picture, the Memo mark stands in.
  • Name, with Show publicly beside it. Off, visitors see your username instead of your name.
  • Username.
  • Headline, Bio (up to 300 characters) and Location.
  • Socials: your handle on Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn. Memo turns them into links; you never paste an address.
Press Save. The same editor opens from Edit profile on your own page.

Public or private

On the Public profile card, Show my profile publicly turns your page on and off.
  • Off (the default): your page is hidden. Your name and picture still sign your comments and shots.
  • On: anyone can open memo.solutions/@yourhandle, with or without a Memo account.
Publishing a shot turns the page on, because a shot needs a page to live on. You can turn it off again at any time; your shots then leave the pool with it.

Your page

Your avatar at the top right is your account menu. The ring around it is your credit meter: the blue arc is what is left this month, and it turns amber when you are low and red when you are out. The menu shows your username and plan, your credits with how far the month has gone, and View profile opens your page inside Memo. Visitors without an account see the same page with the public chrome. Your page keeps the profile card on the left and your published Shots on the right. On a phone the profile sits above your shots. Only available sections are shown. If shots cannot load, Memo shows an error with Try again. A connection problem does not mean the person has published nothing. As the owner you see Edit profile and an eye button, Preview as a visitor, which shows the page the way someone else sees it.

Following

On someone else’s profile, press Follow. Their follower count and your following count update at once. Press Following to unfollow. You need a Memo account to follow; a visitor without one is asked to sign in.
