# Collections

> Group related inspirations — project mood boards, campaign references, client folders.

Collections are lightweight folders for grouping related inspirations. They're tag-based — adding an inspiration to a collection tags it with that collection's identifier. This means an inspiration can live in multiple collections at once without being duplicated.

## Creating a collection

Create a collection from your library. Give it a name and start adding items.

You can also open any inspiration card and use **Add to collection** to file it directly.

## Adding and removing items

* **Add to collection** — from the card's context menu or the action bar in the detail modal
* **Remove from collection** — same menu when browsing within a collection

Adding an item to a collection doesn't move it out of your main library. Removing it doesn't delete it — it just unlinks.

## When to use collections

Use collections for **projects**, not permanent archives:

* "Q3 campaign moodboard"
* "Brand refresh 2026"
* "Client X — winter shoot"
* Style exploration — group by aesthetic direction to compare approaches

## Managing collections

From your library you can:

* **Browse** within any collection to see its contents
* **Rename** a collection
* **Delete** a collection (removes the grouping, not the inspirations inside)
